Endicott College to host MSAA Esports State Championship in December
State champions will be crowned in three titles at the Endicott Esports Lab.
Endicott College is pleased to announce it will be hosting the Massachusetts School Administrators Association (MSAA) Fall Esports State Championships on Saturday, Dec. 13 in the Endicott Esports Lab.
This is the first time Endicott has hosted Massachusetts’ premier high school state championship, in conjunction with PlayVS, for esports. The MSAA will be crowning champions in Mario Kart, Rocket League, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
“The MSAA is excited to be collaborating with Endicott College to hold our Fall 2025 MSAA Esports Championships,” said MSAA Executive Director Richard Pearson. “The staff at Endicott College has been great to work with as we plan an exciting event for many Massachusetts high school teams. Getting to the state semi-finals and finals is an exciting moment for our esports athletes, something they have worked toward throughout the fall. The campus and facilities will provide a welcoming location with numerous resources to celebrate the success of our teams.
“Endicott College’s efforts to advance esports in Massachusetts have created positive energy for enthusiasts. Having the MSAA partner with a collegiate esports leader like Endicott College values the efforts of MSAA students and allows them to experience firsthand the next level of esports participation beyond high school.”
Each semifinal and final will be streamed live on Endicott’s Twitch channel (twitch.tv/endicottesports) for viewers to follow along.
Opened in September 2024, the Endicott Esports Lab is managed by the Endicott School of Sport Science and centrally located in the heart of campus’ primary student union, the Callahan Center. The lab features more than a dozen state-of-the-art gaming PCs, broadcasting space and console gaming. Located right along the ocean in the heart of Massachusetts’ North Shore, Endicott offers a comprehensive curriculum in esports management and fields teams in a half-dozen titles in some of the nation’s most competitive collegiate conferences.
