Endicott Esports beta tests Oakley gaming eyewear
Recently, our friends at Oakley provided some new gaming eyewear for our Overwatch team to test out ahead of the upcoming season. The reception so far from the team has been resoundingly positive.
Sophomore Erineldo “avGGamer” Chico believes that Oakley has been able to come up with a good design that is “comfortable to wear for hours of gameplay.” For much of his time competing in gaming, Chico would play without blue light glasses for hours, resulting in extreme fatigue. However, from testing out Oakley’s blue light gaming glasses, he believes it may have fixed this problem.
The glasses allowed Chico to be more consistent with his aim and practice for a longer period of time either with teammates or by himself. He believes that his scores had improved greatly compared to when he didn’t have the glasses, as he showed us with his Aimlabs results:
Most importantly, Chico believes that they helped make his gaming experience be more enjoyable for a longer period of time. He definitely recommends anyone who is thinking of gaming for long periods of time to pick up a pair once they come out into the market.
We here at Endicott Esports want to send our deepest appreciation to the lovely people at Oakley for providing us with these amazing eyeglasses. It will help us improve our quality of gameplay on and off the battlefield of Overwatch and overall help our eyesight for the long-term.
